I’m Clare Dugmore — a queer, neurodivergent author of gothic romance, cosmic chaos, and stories that bleed and bloom.

I write emotionally intense fiction where love bites back, monsters cry under moonlight, and sacred rage sets entire kingdoms aflame.

Whether I’m telling the story of a vampire vigilante haunted by justice (Kiss Me After the Kill) or a goddess reclaiming her power through flame and devotion (Divine Unmaking), my writing always comes back to softness as rebellion — and love as survival.

I live in the West Midlands, UK, with my supportive real-life vampire husband and our two gremlin children. When I’m not writing dangerously tender stories, I run the Kindred Creativity Club — a gentle, magical space for artists, writers, and creative misfits.

I believe in love with claws. And that stories are spells we cast when the world forgets our magic.
